IV. Consent Agenda Action Items
a. Laurel Bay Map Waiver (Process 3) – Craig Huber – Map Waiver application to waive the requirements for a Tentative Map to create 150 condominium units on a 60,000 sq ft site at the 2400 block of 5th Avenue. Hyde Motion – 7-0-1

b. Dove Street Map Waiver (Process 3) – Steve Soares – Map Waiver application to waive requirements for a tentative map at 3772-3776 Dove Street. Gabriel Motion w/Condition the City Investigate Project for Possible Undergrounding of Utilities – 7-0-1

c. Kocmer Residence – (Process 2) – Karl Strona – Neighborhood Development Permit to build approximately 850 foot addition, mostly at the rear of a craftsman home at 4482 Hortensia. Hyde Motion – 7-0-2

d. Patenaude/Punzalan Residence – Paul Johnson – Addition of master bedroom suite at rear of existing Craftsman home at 3910 Eagle Street. Wendorf Motion – 9-0-0
Note: Members present for subcommittee consideration were Bonn, Edwards, Epley, Gabriel, Gottschalk, Hyde, Sachs, Singleton, Tom, Wendorf.

V. Action Items – 2 hours

a. Miller Residence – Ed Miller – 15 min. (Process 3) Site Development Permit for Environmentally Sensitive Lands to construct a 250' driveway and retaining wall with fence for an existing single family residence on a 52,645 sq ft at 4215 Arista Street.

b. Wageman Residence – 15 min. (Process 2) –Public Right of Way Permit for the Encroachment Maintenance and Removal Agreement for a 6' wrought iron fence in the public right of way at 406 Nutmeg Street.

c. Bankers Hill Townhomes (Avalon Development) – 45 minutes – Charles LePla – (Process 5) Request for development permit and community plan amendment to build 20 units on an approximately 0.46 acre site at 1st Avenue and Maple. Applicant needs community plan amendment to medium-high density as well as advisory review on project with deviations.

d. San Diego Zoo Promenade Proposal – 45 minutes – Gail McLeod and Steve Estrada Proposal to amend the Balboa Park Master Plan and Central Mesa Precise plans to allow the development of parking structure with promenade above, as well as development of present zoo parking area for zoo exhibit purposes. Uptown Planners will provide input to Balboa Park Committee for its consideration of zoo proposal.
