Uptown Planners Membership Election -- Tuesday, March 4, 2003

Election filled 4 current slots plus two additional slots

The annual election of new members to the Uptown Planners board was held on Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at the regular monthly Uptown Planners meeting.

There were four positions up for election, plus two new positions authorized by the committee's bylaws.

Reelected were members Ernestine Bonn, Jay Hyde, Paul de la Houssaye and Marilee Kapsa. Joining the board are Allen Edwards of Hillcrest, manager of a local business, and Mary Wendorf of University Heights. Mary chairs the University Heights Design Review Council and works with SOHO - the Save Our Heritage Association.

A large number of community residents attended the meeting and participated in the vote.
