Uptown on the Hill Association

Reasonable Standards, Predictable Outcomes

Mar 18, 1999

Uptown on the Hill takes the position that it is not in the neighborhood's interest to elevate the cost of new housing in Uptown by demanding an unreasonable standard of quality, or expecting low-density development in an era of high construction costs.

To the contrary, it is our intention to establish a set of policies that will ensure
compatibility of new development with the wishes of established residents, while maintaining Uptown's reputation as an affordable, urban residential location. The guidelines will he made available to prospective developers.
