We plan to leave out of town for two weeks in June. Our two year old dog, a Miniature Schenauzer, needs to stay.  My wife and I are looking for someone in our neighbour to look after our dog during this period of time.

Responsibilities:

1) Our dog can stay at your home for two weeks because we don't want her to be alone

2) You need to feed her once a day, let her out to do her business twice a day.

3) If you have a dog, you can just keep them together. If you don't have a dog, you need to walk her every other day for around an hour.

We

1) will provide food for our dog

2) will pay $20 per  night ($20 * 14 nights = $280 total)

3) will provide all dog vaccine history if needed

My wife and I took a week long vacation last month and used a service called Critter Sitters. They're a fully bonded and insured in-home pet care service. They took care of our two labs.

Critter Sitters comes to your home a certain number of times each day (we had them come three) or they can stay at your home. They won't bring your dog to their homes though. In addition to feeding your pets, they'll walk them, water your plants, get your mail, clean up dog waste from your yard, etc... They're very reliable and will call you with updates if you like. One of the owners also used to be a vet tech and can administer medication if needed. It's a great service and we'll definitely use them again.
