AGENDA FOR JUL 17th 2008 MEETING VHM

Call to order: 6:33 pm by President Harlan Donaldson

Guests and City representatives:
Jim Nelson
?• No enforcement because they were in other quarters during the flood. They are starting again
?• There is a number to call about foreclosures to help you not lose the house. 1-877-622-4866
?• Question: When parking on the street, how far away from the driveway should the cars park? It is really crowded when people part on both side of the drive.
Answer: 15 inches to 2 foot. A discussion ensued.
?• 1002 Knob Hill Drive called for weeds. The city kind of mowed most of it, but didn?’t do a very good job. It has been sold so there may be someone looking after it now.

Rick Fedsen
?• working the PUSH program from 10 pm ?– 3 am so he hasn?’t been monitoring, but he also hasn?’t heard much.
?• 1 accident, a car hit a tree.
?• Radar is being used on Williams while Tim is on duty from noon ?– 8 pm.
?• Not stopping at stop sign on Timberlane. He will tell Tim.
?• During the floods, they stayed in their offices because they weren?’t in there for long periods.
?• East side boxing club at 2025 E Grand. Officers are being certified to run the club. No opening date, but should be soon. Hopefully before school starts. Days and hours will vary. Part of police athletic league. They may do bicycle safety also. Maybe soccer.
?• Bicycle sales: twice a year. Call property office. They want to register some and give them to neighborhood children, but it may not work.
?• Hold off Williams clean up until Rick can be there in October. If there are big items, call Jim. Can they mow and cut tree limbs before we do it?
