Valley High Manor Neighborhood Association

I want to express my appreciation for the flowers that we got through Mary Smith and the city of Des Moines.  I ordered too many (Mary was correct) and did my very best to get as many in the ground as I could.  I did lose a few flats but did my best.  I was not able to volunteer at the greenhouse this year because of a schedule conflict but hope to do it next winter.  It is such a great experience.  Many neighbors have been complimentary and that is so nice.  The rain this year sure has been something!

I also want to say thanks to Mary and the City. If you drive by 4211 Timber Lane, you will see that I made a flower bed with pavers around the mail box. I really like it. I hope the marigolds will flower soon.
