I guess impersonating a building, zoning, plumbing and electrical inspector and collecting fees NOT approved by council is alright with you.

Mark Bartel had NO license to do any of theses things. Therefore he had no right to any money.

You are right, I made a mistake. Bartel was in the 1998-1999 letter. This is another case where people are afraid to say what they paid. Since Bartel didn't give receipts, it is their word against his. You payed or you didn't get a permit from the pusher.

If the payments were reported as income, why did Bartel insist on cash?

HE WAS NOT AN INSPECTOR OF ANY KIND.

I Hate To Repeat Myself

Where does the mailman put the mail? Who has a key to the mayor's office? Who does the clerk give the mail to?

I understand the power of each office, but as long as you have a less that honorable mayor, forget it.

You fail to grasp what happens.

I know what I know from information given to me from O.P.W.C. The auditors have had it for years and have done nothing.

If Micheal is reading this sight, he knows what I say is true and I don't give up on people like him and Watkins.
He thought because he left with his tail between his legs, that I would stop. He knows me better than that.

If others want to cover for them, it is not in their best interest.

The Mail

The Mail is placed in a mail slot that is locked in the Mayor's Office. He has the key.

To make sure that the mail is handled properly and not opened by the wrong party a resolution was passed by Council. It defines how mail is handled, who is to open the mail, and how invoices and bills should be addressed to the Village. If the Mayor or ANYONE opens mails that is not addressed to them charges can be brought against them.

All invoices and bills are to be addressed to the Fiscal Officer/Clerk Treasurer and are to be opened ONLY by the Fiscal Officer/Clerk Treasurer. Again, while you and your group complained about things and did nothing, the current Council took action and there are now rules with penalties in how to handle the mail of the Village.

Since that has passed I have not heard any complaints from anyone concerning the mail. Everyone understands their responsbility concerning mail. We took action and it is working. If it is found that someone is mishandling the mail charges will be filed, that is the law.
