Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council (GRVNC) Election Results

The inaugural elections for this neighborhood council were held on June 13, 2002. The complete election results for the 21 vacancies are posted on GRVNC's website (-go to "Add-a-Link" on our home page and click on the GRVNC link).

The highlights of the election are as follows:

Tisha Bedrosian is elected President.

Sheila Bernard is elected one of seven "at-large" directors.

David Morig is elected to represent District 1, corresponding to that part of our area of Venice which lies north of Palms Bl.

Chris Williams is elected to represent District 4, corresponding to that part of our area of Venice which lies south of Palms Bl.

We congratulate the winners and look forward to a close working relationship.

To the many who worked hard to establish GRVNC, get it certified and bring it to this point and yet were unsuccessful in the election we say: continue the good work on GRVNC committees and remember: you may have better luck next time.
