Meet your neighbors...

Hello,

Do you know your neighbors? If you want to the first step is to spend time in your front yard.

Then say hello to all the regulars you see and talk to a few of them when possible. This whole web site is about connecting with the people in your local area.

Working together for the betterment of the areas out your front door.

That is a good thing.

Pitch in

Rake the leaves in more than your own gutter if you have the time.
Volunteer to Umpire at North Venice LL. Our ball park on the hill.

Each little thing we do helps to make our bit of LA better.

PS Have you ever gone up there just for the burger and to watch a game! Try It. The frys can be great.

Remember to have fun and not make it to hard unnecessarily

Watch out... To much power in the hands of the few make you want to use it more and more.

Look out for the NIMBI in yourself.

Do Speed bumps help or hurt… My thoughts:

-They slow down a few speeders

But in return they do more harm than good.

-They also make it less usable as a road for Firetruck racing to a heart attack victim.
-They feel awful when you ride in the back of an Ambulance with a broken bone!
- Everyone from now on must endure the breaking and speed up and breaking and speed up. Which in the end is bad for the air we breath.
