I have been appointed to fill the District 4 vacancy on the Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council. I strongly believe in the mission of the neighborhood council to give the community a voice in city affairs, and I'm eager to hear from people living and working in my district, which is all of Venice east of Lincoln and south of Palms, including Venice High and Mark Twain Junior High.
I want to hear about any issues of concern--traffic, parking, crime, airport noise, development, anything that you feel the city should be addressing to make our neighborhood a better place to live.
