I need help. I found out my apt had bed bugs and my landlord knew about prior to my moving in. I have spent $500 cleaning my clothes and car and now he refuses to give me my rent money back. I have reported him to the Code Enforcer. They came out and cited him for all the violations but they told me thats all they can do. I am no homeless b/c I refuse to go back to the apt. I found out that the prior tenant was a drug addict and prostitute and even after the bed bug incident he refuses to throw out the mattress. To make matters worse I saw my room in an ad on craiglist using the same pictures. I went to several lawyers and was told that my case was not worth their time. I have numerous bed bug bites all over my body which will scar me for life. I had to throw out most of my belongings. I hope there is someone out there that can help me.

Hello is this unit in Harding Run Village in Mays Landing, NJ? I am asking because I am currently looking to move there. If so please let me know I wouldn't want to get this unit and I have children. But, to answer some of your  questions you need to go to landlord tennant court and file a complaint againt the landlord so that you can get all your money back, also maake sure your unit has a CO by calling the township they should be able to tell you that.
