Problems Were Corrected

The problems were confronted and corrected. You seem mostly angered because the problems were not handled the way that you wanted them to be. I choosed to address things in a different manner than you Ms. White. In a more professional and respectful way.

You also seem angered that no one went to jail. The Village could only proceed so far and had to rely on the State and County to go further. They declined to take action. Why they chose to I cannot fathom a guess.

The response that I got from State Agencies was that since the people were out of office they did not seem to want to pursue the matter.

If anyone was a convicted Felon they could not have held office. Because you say they are a felon does not make them so. To the best of my knowledge no one convicted of a felony served in the Village government. You seem to act as the judge and have all ready convicted people and accuse them of being felons when that could not be further from the truth.

I would not say that those people were better than anyone else. I would say that they were fortunate that the State and County chose not pursue the matters.

Asinine!

Since when is it legal to say, just because someone is out of office they are not responsible for what they did?

That is what Parrish said the State Agencies said. All Valleyview has to do is raise public ire and insist something be done.

I think this would be a reason for the residents to wonder about county and state officials.

Valleyview is small but there is a lot of money involved.

I would think that when a person is fired from one job because of theft, I would not then vote them into public office.

Parrish has some reason for ignoring the theft in office. I wonder what it is?

What Theft In Office?

Where is the theft in office Ms. White? None of the audits found that anyone stole money for their personal gain.

While the audits do not inspect every record, Theft in office would easily be found. If these large sums of money you alledge were stolen by someone it would have been found. IT DID NOT HAPPEN.

Accounting errors and flat out laziness led to the Village suffering a financial setback. Former Clerk/Treasurers did not do their jobs in paying bills. The Money never went into anyone's pocket. The Clerk/Treasurers were sued and money was recovered by the Village. If it had been criminal in nature they would have been charged.

Valleyview CANNOT do it alone. If County and State officials do not want to pursue charges the Village cannot do anything.

I wish the County and State would have taken action against the some of the public officials in the Village.

One would have been yourself Ms. White, you voted to place your son in a paying position as a Councilman for the Village. That would be a violation of the ethics laws of the State of Ohio. A Councilwoman in Cuyahoga County was convicted of voting to put her husband on Council. Cuyahoga County decided to pursue it, Franklin County did not in yours and Raylene Graves cases.

Ms. White you also authorized worked to be done for the Village though you had no authority to do so. That would be misappropriation of funds, and again the County chose not to pursue the matter. It does not matter that the Council later approved it, they did you a favor.

People should be mindful of their state and county officials. Especially the elected ones. I personally will never vote for a certain Franklin County Prosecutor for any office he may run for in the future.

I am not ignoring any of the actions of the former officials from Valleyview. If I ever see any of them running for office again or seeking public office I will be there to remind everyone of what they did. The voters will decide in the future. State Agencies and County Officials have declined to take action, there is not more that I can do.

Those that are without fault cast the first stone.
