Densie, I did not say that you misquoted the article, I stated that there was probably confusion on the part of the Westside Messenger. I read the article this morning when I got back in to town. It does say construction.

I would hope that the Westside Messenger prints a correction if they did put the wrong information in the paper.

Hopefully one of the Village Officials will respond to your message. Seems like a simple question that can be answered with a quick phone call.

The other option is to look in the posting boxes and review the resolution yourself. By law the Village has to post any legislation that is passed for 30 days. A copy of the resolution should be there. Sometimes the weather or people take them out, but the Village has to make an attempt to post the resolution.

That would be my first suggestion to look in the posting boxes.

I still say that we need to get more information before we start throwing around acusations such as Ms. White is doing. I am still willing to bet that the Messenger got it wrong that it was a resolution for the contract for a dinner at Buca Di Beppo.

Valleyview is not the place that a large restaraunt wants to build in without parking access or a large customer base. Buca would only come with a major development project, something that big would be making the news, because if you want to have a successful business you would not be keeping it a secret when you want the whole world to know that you are going to be opening for business.

I'm sorry I did not mean to say that that you had misquoted me. No, please I'm not really trying to stir a hornets nest. It just threw me that this came out of the blue. There was noone that I could ask about this and get an immediate response. Most of my neighbors hadn't read it in the article. I did talk to Mayor Watkins and you are right Mr Parish they are taking the police officers TO Buca di Beppo. It was a misquote with the messenger. I would have loved to seen a nice place to have dinner at here locally. What a treat it would be to walk to dinner then a leasurely walk home thru valleyview. That's what the hog roast is for LOL. Please accept my apology for writing my reply in confusion & excitement.
