Village Of Valleyview

Valleyview In The News

Sheri

I recently moved from Valleyview. I lived there 35 years.

It doesn't work that way in Valleyview. When something like this happens NO ONE checks anything. Mr. Parrish would not check into something that might harm the people he put into office. He only does it when someone calls him on it.

I uncovered things while on councel. The state auditor and attorney general said that if council would back me they would check into it. They would not act for me alone. I'm sure if Mr. Parrish ''checked'' his information he would find a letter from Betty Montgomery stating this about my request for an audit.

My ''mis-appropriation'' of funds that Parrish spoke about was this: Council had approved marking parking lines at the Village Hall. There were some others needed done that were not on the orignal order. I called the mayor and got the ok. The company was coming the next day. To call a special meeting to approve was stupid. It would have cost more money for the meeting than for the extra cost. At the next council meeting it was approved.

The Ohio Revised Code states that if council approves the expendure, even if after the fact, it is not mis-apropriation.

Once again Mr. Parrish.
Forgot

I forgot to add, the expendure was $80.00. What happened to the thousands that were taken or mis-appropriated before Russolillo resigned and left with his tail between his legs?

Oh, it was stated on this web site that I took it and split it with my friends.

Needed to say I had no access to money or the check book.

Why didn't Watkins and Parrish looked to the people who did? Russolillo and his sister-in-law.
Maybe I Will

call Carol Luper and tell her where to find the ''lack'' of an ordiance giving Valleyview the right to impose these fines.

Search your brain Parrish, I brought it up several times at council. You were one of the most adamently against correcting it. I wrote the figures in a flyer. The Village had over charged almost one half million dollars in illegal fines.

You have been so helpful Paul, would you tell me the name of the attorney for the man bringing the charges against Valleyview. I doubt you will.

Gladly

If I knew the man's name I would gladly tell you Ms. White. They mentioned it during the news story but I am afraid that I did not catch his name. I am sure when you talk to Carol Luper she will be more than happy to give you his name or pass along a message.

As to your claims, that was about approving the amount of the fines for Mayor's Court, not about the Ordinance giving the Officers the authority to write the tickets. You are confusing the facts.

This lawsuit IS ABOUT not having valid ordinances for the officers to write a ticket against. What you are claiming needed to be done did not need to be done because the Mayor's Court sets the fines, not the Council.

Do not confuse the facts.
