20th Anniversary a
Smashing Success!!

The community came together to celebrate its 20th Birthday on Sept. 29th in Flint Park. The celebration was well attended with approximately 175 guests. There was plenty to see and do, with food, music, crafts, games, and of course, socializing with neighbors and friends.
Among the highlights were impressive karaoke performances, especially the many renditions of ?“Life is a Highway!?” Children were transformed into wild animals, butterflies, fairies, super heroes, and princesses compliments of neighborhood face painters Liz Slack and Jamie Prosser. The caricature artist was Sean Forney of Westerville based ?“Savage Mind Comics?” who drew amazing portraits in just a few minutes for families to take home as a memento. The craft table was crowded with children making wreaths, bookmarks, beaded jewelry and frogs.
There was a well-rounded menu of pork barbeque, hot dogs, Boca burgers, macaroni salad, coleslaw, chips, soda, cake and ice cream.
Thank you to all who assisted in making this event so spectacular, including but not limited to: Liz Slack, Jamie Prosser, Bruce Sinn, Jason Fritz, Suzanne and Chris Wilson, Bob and Carolyn Smith, Worthington Christian Church, Kody Prosser, Rob Slack, Jill Macko, Diane Weisgarber, Catherine Nocar, Mike Heyd, Randy Chizum, John Davis, Guy and Karen Wong, and Mario Bienvenue, A BIG THANKS, and apologies, to anyone whose name we may have missed.
Lastly, THANK YOU to the party planning committee: Jamie Prosser, Bob and Carolyn Smith, and especially to Liz Slack, who originally thought of and planned this event.
