Pima Rd...$$$maker

Posted in: Castlegate
Almost every time I have driven on Pima rd. there is a photo radar van out there. Most of the time it's hiding behind the recycleing dumpster and even at night. Today there was 2 of them. It's only a 2 mile stretch of road. As far as I know Pinal county only has 2 photo radar vans. So they are both needed there? I never saw any accidents on there. It has an unusually low speed limit on there so they must put them there as an easy way to make money. Never heard of any big safety issues on there. They even have them out there at night. Nothing says safety better than flashing people in the face at night while hiding.

blind kid

I think there is a blind or deaf kid on that road. I've seen a sign there I believe.... 10 points to bag Hellen Keller!! :)
Photo Radar

Photo Radar has been ruled unconstitutional by the Arizona Court of Appeals several times. Do a search on the interntet for photo radar and arizona. School yourself on previous rulings and take it to court, you will have a really good chance at beating it!
Pima Road

People speed horribly on Pima Road. I used to drive down there daily to and from work and the speed limit is 25 (it's a residential road if nobody has noticed) and people were typically doing 50+. I am sure the people that have homes there with children playing weren't too happy about it and complained. I don't think it's a way to earn money it's a way to stop people from going over 50+ in a 25 RESIDENTIAL neighborhood.
