Villages of Woodland Springs Homeowners Association

Malcolm in the middle

May 28, 2006

Make sure to read the newsletter!

Rumor has it, two people who work on the Woodland Word, Colleen Demel and Shirley Gansser, met with Malcolm Louden, Merhdad's agent for the community, to discuss issues and lawsuits in the neighborhood.

Surely we anticipate an update, in the newsletter, based on findings from this meeting, to keep all homeowners informed of the standings of these issues.

Also since it appears all their questions were not answered, they intend to meet with Merhdad.

Perhaps it may help if they informed all homeowners when this meeting occurs, since it is the goal of the newsletter and the community to keep all homeowners involved and informed in current issues.

There are different villages in our development, each has different issues. If this information is truly for the development, it should be accessable to all villages, the gathering and dispersing of information.

In the past, personal agenda's were more the issue than the community problems. Things have been done that don't necessary reflect the best interest of the community; but to certain individuals benefit.

An example of which, would be the RF system, for our pools. There is no accountability for persons using the pools, that you and I pay for.

This is part of our dues, as such, we should have control over who uses these pools. RF is a great system for SBB to track the number of times a particular card accesses the pool; BUT WHO IS USING THE CARD? We have no way of identifying who is using the card or how many are using the card. This is one of the problems, we get from people pushing issues that are not in the best interest of the community. An example is, the lifeguards have left the pool and you are no longer able to use the slide; but WHO IS GOING TO MONITOR NOT USING THE SLIDE?

If there are any other homeowners who feel left out or un-informed, this is a time and place to express your feelings and interest.
