Ed Bass' firm secures financing for complex

FORT WORTH -- Ed Bass's real estate company and partners have secured financing for a 398-unit apartment complex in north Fort Worth.
The $29.8 million Watercolor at North Beach Street Apartments will be built on 27 acres on North Beach Street just north of North Tarrant Parkway. It is being developed by Bass' real estate company Fine Line Diversified Development and Insight Real Estate Strategies of Keller.
Watercolor Partners, a limited partnership of Fine Line, bought the land in mid-December from North Tarrant Partners, an entity of Southern Land Co. in Franklin, Tenn.
