Good Morning,
I am a resident at Villas of Northgate on Bantry Bay. On March 13th at approximately 5:30AM I caught a black male (about 5'9) wearing a grey hoodie with a black backpack trying to break into my vehicle. I proceeded to ask the male what he was doing and he ran towards the corner park of the subdivison. He jumped over the fence to the complex by our subdivision. This is not the first time this has happened, this occurred about two weeks ago, but I did not see the person. This is VERY scary being that we also park along the wall/fence and leave to work early in the morning. So I advise that all neighbors be aware and lock their vehicles and be aware of your surroundings. In addition I would recommend exterior lights be on for security purposes. The lighting in our subdivision is not very bright, so this is not safe. I will also contact HOA so they may post signage/notify local police station for possible patrolling of our neighbor.
