It's been reported that criminals have been stealing outgoing mail in our neighborhood. They look for a raised flag and remove paid bills and the accompanying checks. They do this to get information such as account numbers and anything else typed on the check, such as Social Security numbers. The safest thing is to mail paid bills only at the Post Office.
