This center offers a wide variety of activities for all ages and interests. The Sport and Fitness Center offers numerous programs and services for kids, seniors and families. As a member you can take advantage of the fitness classes, athletic leagues, personal training, group classes and more. The tennis center has both indoor and outdoor facilities. Senior classes include: water aerobics, yoga, art classes and various clubs.

The Mizel Center for Arts and Culture, which features award-winning Denver Children?’s Theatre. Beginning in March, 2006 the center will have 2 new shows, Star Wars and The Princess Diaries. Call the center at 303-316-6360, for times and dates. The Colorado Chamber Players will have three new productions which will engage the audience with spoken program notes.

The library offers several reading programs for children and adults. Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 10:30AM is an age specific children?’s reading time.

The Daytime Book Club will not meet at this branch anymore, beginning in 2006.

The Mystery Book Club will not be meeting in Jan., but will resume on Feb 15th, at 7:30. Please read the book The Daughter of Time, by Josephine Tey.

The winter schedule begins Jan 9, 2006. You do not need to be a member to take advantage of their many programs! The Older Adults Program offers a wide range of fitness classes and social activities. Fitness classes include an Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, stretch and tone, aerobic and yoga. An AARP Driver Safety Course will be offered for a $10 fee. Please call the Y for date and time. Daytrips, potlucks and movie clubs are available as well. Youth sport deadlines are on Feb 24, 2006. This includes soccer and basketball teams.
