In the latest newsletter delivered to the door, there was a small article concerning free dental care for low income and elderly residents.
This program is not even worth the time to check it out. MAJOR RIPOFF. As many know, low income and elderly residents usually have no health insurance, thus making the problems they have much more severe. The Delta Dental program will provide cleaning and a toothbrush for free, everything else you pay through the nose for. Anything major, you have to sign up and then wait for over a year to get done. Plus, you pay big bucks for it.
All in all, don't bother with this program. Write or email Gov. Hickenlooper to tell him what a major failure this program is to those of us without dental insurance. We will remember next election.
