VDM February 2001 Newsletter Page 2

Feb 24, 2001

NEW STREET REPS. +!!!
Eloise Slansky has agreed to be the Laurel Street Rep.
Mike Lawson has agreed to be the Water Street Rep.
Nancy Blayda has agreed to be the Newsletter Delivery Person for Swan.
Hillarie Gianas has agreed to be the Newsletter Delivery Person for Venice.
Ray Lehmer and Debbie Torgerson have both agreed to be the Newsletter Delivery People for Water on their respective sides of the street.

I want all of you who have volunteered for these positions to know that I greatly appreciate your contributions to our neighborhood. I know how busy we all are with the other commitments we have in our lives. It really lightens the load when we all take a piece of the work. It makes the whole neighborhood stronger. Which brings me to the next topic.

Street Reps needed for Flower, Grant, Venice and Swan. In the spirit of the Joy of Giving, consider this. Since Venice and Swan have people to deliver the newsletter, all we really need is people to be the street reps. Flower is a very short street with only 12 residences. Additionally, people with a burning desire to be a street rep. or deliver the news letter on a street that already has someone in that role, could ask them if they would mind if you did it! Hey, what the heck, lets be creative!
Give your street rep. or me a call and see what fun we can create!

BULLETIN BOARD AT McCORMICK PARK
 LOST AND FOUND
You now have two new resources to post lost and found pets. There is a space on the bulletin board and if you go to our neighborhood web page www.neighborhoodlink.com/tucson/vdelmonte , then under the heading Community hot links click on Lost and Found Pets. This will send you to the same link that the Southern Arizona Humane Society has on their web page for lost and found pets. The organization providing this service is a non-profit called FOUND! You can also reach them by phone at 722-0248. If you don?’t have access to the Internet send a recent photo to Found! to add to their Lost Pet page.
Thanks, Richard
