The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor and its affiliates will be marching in this year's MLK Kingdom Day Parade. Memphis sanitation workers, Baxter Leach and Alvin Turner, who were a part of the 1968 Memphis strike will ride LA Labor's float.
U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis will follow behind LA Labor's float. The Parade begins at 10:15 AM and will be broadcast live on KABC Channel 7.
