Westover Woods Maintenance Association - (WWMA)

WWMA 4/17/2008 Meeting

Reviewed but not Approved Minutes

Notes from 4/17 meeting:

1.It was agreed that the annual maintenance fee would remain at $175.00. Invoices, with 2007 expenditures and a 2008 budget included will be mailed by mid May, ’08, with a due date of June 30, 2008. Homeowners that did not pay past dues will be billed those past dues as well as current dues. If dues, are not paid in time, the late payment collection process will be followed immediately.

2.Walt will talk with Pete about the landscaping that is hiding the Westover Woods sign and what can be done to alleviate the problem. Walt/Pete will also talk to our current landscaper and request that they do a better job with the mulch around the community.

3.Ralph/Janet will look into the paint and stains on the street and report back their findings – if they could find out who did it and how to fix it.

4.Walt/John will look into the missing stop sign and get this process restarted with the County.

5.Walt and Joe agreed to remain Board members until January, 2009. The process to elect new board members will be as follows: after June meeting request and accept nominations; close the nominations; after September meeting send out ballots, giving a 2 week time to return votes; count votes for the October meeting and make announcement of new Board members in December meeting.

6.Walt mentioned the Glasgow-Bear Community meetings. Michelle and Kathy are working on a newsletter and this may be a good place to post the website for this if people are interested in attending these meetings.

7.There was a discussion of the attempted break-ins. Walt will ask the County to come and talk to the Association members about this for the May meeting.

8.Walt will research further the status of Royal Farms and update us at the next meeting. He did indicate that the house on the property is “historic” and that this has lead to delays on the part of Royal Farms.

9.There was a discussion on RV/Boat restrictions. Walt informed us that it is the Association’s job to “police” this if the property is under 25 feet. However, if the property is over 25 feet, the county can come and ticket the homeowners.

10.The tot lot was mentioned and what, if anything, needs to be done in this area. I think it was a topic for the next meeting.

11.Social events and welcome committee and activities are agenda items for the next meeting.

12.Kathy Halada would like to add the county drainage project to the next agenda also.

13.Walt was going to talk with Pete about the pond and get an update on this project for the next meeting.

14.Security/security cameras was also a topic for the next meeting.
