They Don't Care! (Pt. 1)

They Don't Really Care About Us. That was a song that the late, great Michael Jackson sang about this country, as he expressed many situations in the tune that proved his theory correct. And the more I see, hear and learn about; I must admit, MJ was nearly on point.

What's obviously sad is that so many powerful entities don't care about this country, in general. All they're concerned about is what's in it for them. And they really don't care what's in it for black or brown folks. Just look around and see how the poor are treated and the disenfranchised are ignored and pushed aside. They're punished for being broke and destitute in this country. They're given very little means for survival if they're living in poverty.

The only thing the so-called poor people are good for is to spend their minimal resources to help make others extremely profitable. These are the very entities who totally discount the poor. They know the poor's spending habits and they cater to those undisciplined habits. They give the poor some aid (Link), then they abstract that aid from them with promos of name brand products that poor little boys, girls and families must have, so they think. And the poor is not only poor, but they're uneducated to reality. Therefore, it's really easy to take back their government disbursed loot.

Plus, they rarely vote. They don't participate in the development of their communities and the educating of their poor children. This is what the powerful entities assume. The poor are easy targets, and everyone in power abuse their power to pimp them. They know poverty and poor people will always exist, so they can use their rotating schemes to abuse them.

Lets look at our politicians, who's elected job it is to represent the people (all the people). Here is how the poor is being pimped by political operatives: Chicago's administration (city council) argued for months that speed light cameras is how the city can slow down drivers in school or residential communities - not speed bumps. This debate got heated and campaigns are still being waged against this money grabbing mechanism, in mainly poorer communities, where paying for tickets are out of their small budgets.

In the heart of downtown under Wacker Drive, there were complaints of excessive drag racing and the noise disturbing the wealthy tenants of the expensive high rises. Instead of placing speed light cameras to catch and fine racers hefty sums, they decided to place speed bumps to slow down traffic. That same argument was presented in poor communities on the South and West sides, but the city council agreed to install speed light cameras, which they stated would slow down traffic. Really? Tax poor blacks, but give the mainly wealthy whites a slap on the wrist....They don't care!

Chicago was recently listed at the top of police involved shootings over the last few years, as reported in a local newspaper. What's even worse, is that 95% of the shootings in where the police shot an unarmed or armed (black) person in Chicago, the officer(s) are not even charged and the shootings are ruled justified.

With that being said, where are Chicago's elected officials? Most importantly, where are the black elite, middle-class and wealthy Negroes, who tend to align themselves with the city, and the mayor? Why are they not publicly expressing their outrage about what's happening to their people? This goes to my point: They really don't care! They just go alone, to get alone, as long as their money, prestige and position is not being compromised.

When will an elected official or elite black business person stand up and be the people's advocate? Today we have a black president, and the very elite Negroes who campaigned for Barack and his legacy as the first black chief executive, are the very people still on their knees. They conduct themselves more like the slave servants in past presidential white houses, then real men who stand tall and proud that a black man controls this country, in 2015.

Do we have people with courage and grit? Yes! But they are mainly outside of the false establishment and get very little support. And when I say false establishment, is because it's not even real to the black elite. They don't have the opportunity to even live within themselves. They have to live according to others way of thinking they should live. And guess what? They don't care!

But here is the positive people. They don't really have to care about US. Our dreams, ambitions and progress are not determined by how much others care. It's decided by how much we really care about ourselves! Peace and One Love.
