"Best Use" for Koch-Mobile Site

On May 20th, 1999, a presentation was made to Mayor Coleman by Brighton Development Corp. and the Fort Road Federation in support of a housing development being built on the now vacant Koch-Mobile site. Mayor Coleman pledged his support and instructed his staff to take steps to proceed.
Mayor Coleman has also dismissed the Ryan Company's proposal for "Big Box" development on the site. However, there are lingering conversations about the possibility of incorporating 100,000 square feet of commercial development into the housing development.
