Watch for bus shelter improvements to take place on West Seventh Street in the year 2000. The Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority recently allocated $1.5 million
to build new bus shelters, make enhancements to existing shelters, and create informational kiosks along West 7th.

Representatives of Ramsey County, the City of St. Paul, the West Seventh Fort Road Federation, and the West End BRC have met to discuss design guidelines for the bus shelters and kiosks. Plans should be finalized by the end of the year, with work slated to begin in 2000.

?• $130,000 -- Information kiosks at W 7th transit stops

?• $210,000 -- Lighting at bus stops along West Seventh
