Beautifying West 7th

Earlier this Summer, WEBPA donated $500 and many volunteer hours to purchase and plant flowers along W 7th Street from Jefferson to Otto. Many thanks to Kimberly Nuckles (West End BRC), Greg Galles (Season's Inn), Pat Donohue (Donohue Real Estate) and students from St. Paul Community Based Program for Social Development (1211 W 7th) for their time and effort. Thanks also to Highland Nursery for donating some of the flowers.

Additionally, the WEBPA recently made a $100 donation to the Dispute Resolution Center (974 W 7th) toward a plaque for the Peace Garden they've recently planted in front of the Fort Road Federation offices. The Peace Garden was a collaborative effort involving many West Seventh community based groups including: Saint Frances Saint James Peace Council; Partners for Violence Prevention; W 7th Family Center and Community Center; Dispute Resolution Center; W 7th Community Partnership; the Fort Road Federation; and the West End Business and Professional Association.
