?“Arizona?’s Best Hometown Holiday Tradition?” If in the past you missed going to Glendale Glitters, you have been missing out. More than 290,000 people are expected to attend Glendale Glitters from Nov 26 through Jan 15. Now in its eleventh year, Glendale Glitters has become a must-see Valley holiday display featuring nearly 1 million multi-colored lights that blanket Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale. The dazzling decorations will remain lit nightly. From Dec 3-19 Special activities will continue Friday and Saturday nights known as Enchanted Evenings. From 6-10 p.m. each night, these evenings will include holiday choirs and other entertainers, craft and food vendors, Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides and a new Glendale tradition ?… holiday family karaoke. Finally, the ?“night the lights go out?” will be Saturday, Jan 15, 2005 as twelve blocks of historic downtown are transformed into Glendale Glitter & Glow. A dozen plus bands, three dozen hot air balloons, street performers and an estimated 70,000 people will fill the streets from 5-10 p.m. as Glendale Glitters comes to an end for another year.
