Welcome New Neighborhood Volunteers:

In order to have more events, activities & newsletters, the Board is in the process of establishing committees to help spread the involvement amongst our community. Interested volunteers are being recruited for the following Board committees:
?• Neighborhood Watch Subcommittee to assist the Neighborhood Watch Captain and Co-Captain. If you are interested, please submit your name to one of the Board Members or Neighborhood Watch Captain- Dennis Martinez.

?•Activities committees
?•Communications Committee
?•Garage Sale Committee

West Glenn has established the following Board Committee at this time. Once other committees are established, all committees and their members shall serve at the will of the Board.

?•Neighborhood Watch

Our hopes are that each committee will consist of 4-5 members. Each member must remain in good standing with the HOA. A homeowner wishing to fill a vacancy may submit their name with a simple statement of interest in serving on a committee. Interviews may be conducted if necessary. The Chair of a committee, seeking people to serve, will propose to fill vacancies by majority committee recommendation to the Board for appointment. Appointment consideration criteria will include, but not be limited to, relevant experience, willingness to serve, availability, ability to get along with others, fairness, firmness, and ability to function with a team.

One of the things that makes this community stand out are the volunteers. If you want to volunteer, no matter how little the time, contact the committee or group that you are interested in working with, or a board member who will direct you. If you have a new idea that can become a community project (like a garage sale, Cookie exchange, etc.), then take up the reins, and I am sure that the community will support the project.

If any of this gets you charged up, just let a Board Member Know. Whether you are a player, spectator or volunteer, it is bound to be a good time had by all.
