Recently Ed Brogna and I addressed the issue of speeding, primarily on Blacklidge to Traffic Enforcement to ask what can be done. Our police dept. is cooperating to help us to the best of their ability.
I wished to make a plea to everyone in or community to drive the speed limit. Some of us have lost beloved pets, many have almost been hit by walking, try to keep walkways clear so or residents can get out of harms way, and be cautious with your children. Make a report of hours the speeding is at it's worse.
One more comment: If you see any suspious activity report it. If you are unsure, document the activities and alert neighbors as to keep an eye out. Call 911 for immediate response and Midtown for surveilance. I encourage you not to ''Take the law into your own hands''. Some activities are dangerous. Contact Marc Haberman or myself if you don't feel comfortable and please contact one of us regarding the situation so we can watch also.
