it really upsets me when inconsiderate people put up signs ALL over the place(which is not allowed) and then do not take them down.these signs become litter eventually and are not picked up.what happened to the city's new sign enforcement program?

JK,

I had contacted the City of Surprise several months ago asking about the ''sign rule'' they implemented.

The explanation I got was that their policy applied to signs in the right-of-ways. They are mostly concerned with those right-of-ways along major roads (Bell, Grand, Greeway, etc).

I'm with you on this one JK...This neighborhood isn't an inner city slum and shouldn't look like one with all the papers posted. A lost pet is one thing but things for sale should be put in the available publications.

the city isnt enforcing their ''new''sign law. look around and you will see ''for sale'' and''for rent'' signs in public right of ways,church signs and the ever popular realator sign.what really amazes me are the posters for child care taped to stop signs, thats real professional! however, it IS better than it used to be.
