picnic area

Posted in: W Point Towne Center
please be aware the picnic and bbq area in ushomes is broken, the picnic table is laying on the ground and is not useable. this only leaves one picnic table. so if you were planning to have a bbq in that area there is only seating for about 6 people. i have also checked the playarea and see no caution tape and i do not see any repairs. please be careful if you are using the common areas until the mgnt co fixes the problems.

has anyone had a chance to see the other sections and their playareas/picinc areas. are they suffering the same destruction as ushomes. could this be vandalism from our residents, non residents using the property and damaging it or could it be our residents are using the common areas consistently and the equipment is just wearing out?

Vandalism

Please be aware that all reports of broken equipment need to be reported to City Property Management. This is NOT an official web site and is not monitored by City Property. As for the caution tape, I HAVE seen it several times. It seems that someone (??) is deliberately removing it and it's constantly being replaced. Parents, why aren't you teaching your children to be responsible or is some adult deliberately doing this because they have a grudge against the HOA????

Property Management is aware of the picnic area in the U.S. Home area and is working on resolving the problem. It is due to vandalism (we have a lot in our community). We are hoping to have it repaired in a manner so it can not be damaged in the same manner again.

As for the playground equipment. A company has been on property to look at the equipment, determine what repairs need to be made and order any necessary parts. When I get more information, I will be happy to post it.

I have been putting up the caution tape on a daily basis. I have informed my children, as well as other neighborhood children of the situation and they are consistanly keeping me up-to-date on the status of the caution tape. They know not to tear it down and have even been coming to my door to let me know when it is down. I have made it a daily habit to put up new caution tape and will continue to do so until the equipment is repaired.
