West Rudisill Neighborhood Association Acts To Plant Trees

Jim Sack has managed to find a contact for the tree planting initiative along West Rudisill. In a March 12 email he wrote "We have a contact and will coordinate with the fall canopy program to plant trees in November. I proposed to Mark that we have a pot luck to coincide with the event. Also, I had a meeting yesterday with the Tippmann folk to get them interested in the Rudisill Project and to endorse it. It seems they will with changes. Julie Donnell will also help with the tree planting through Friends of the Parks."

"Our neighborhood is providing a part of the funding for the trees and the labor, $2,000.  Some 69 trees are planned for the boulevard, according to Chad's list, and should make the neighborhood even more beautiful. The 69 tree count is a generous increase over the 50 which I was told our $2,000 would help fund. ", according to Jim.
