Recieved A Message About Cumberland Estates: 

Neighbors,

A trailer was stolen from a home on the corner of Crestfield and Royalview, Thursday May 24. This occurred sometime during the day when the homeowners were at work. It was discovered missing approx 5pm. It had a lock on it. A report with KPD has been filed.

A Bluefield resident had a visitor from "ADT" last week, saying that he had to see the back of the residences' ADT sign to verify the number on the back. The visitor was wearing a badge around his neck that looked authentic. The resident asked enough questions and made remarks to this ADT visitor that made him uncomfortable. He left suddenly, realizing that the resident was more knowledgeable than he and knew that he was not from ADT.Please remember that lawn equipment has been known to disappear if left out or unlocked. In the past 6 weeks, a ladder from behind someones home has been reported missing as was a weed eater left on a front porch.
