OPPORTUNITIES FOR FELLOWSHIP AND SERVICE

ANNA HARTER WALTER ASSOCIATION

All women of the church belong to the Anna Harter Walter Association (AHWA). The association is comprised of several circles which meet for prayer and Bible Study each month. In addition, the AHWA offers support to many community organizations such as FISH, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels. Each fall, the women of this group sponsor the Holiday Bazaar. Proceeds from this event are used to fund the Presbyterian Preschool.

PRESBYTERIAN MEN'S GROUP

The men of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church strive to meet for an hour of fellowship and sustenance each month. Meetings are generally held over the lunch hour (12:00 -1:00pm). A hot meal and a speaker of local interest is provided. This group also organizes an annual trip to Wrigley Field - go Cubbies!

YOUNG COUPLES GROUP

This new and informal group is comprised primarily of young couples and families with young children. Get-togethers are held on the first Friday of each month at various members homes. Occasionally, the group has 'adults only' nights at a local restaurant. This group also hopes to do service projects within the church and the local community on a regular basis.
