Hey all, I just moved in recently and like most of you, have been experiencing problems with the internet. I was wondering, are the problems with the wireless or the connection itself? I was considering either getting an ethernet cable and keeping my computer plugged in or buying a wireless router myself and using that. Has anyone had better luck using either of those solutions? It seems like the problem is that the connection constantly goes in and out. Streaming TV shows from websites like NBC or usanetwork and playing games online are impossible because I keep losing connection. Thanks.

LOL!!! sorry, welcome to the registry.......what you are experiencing is our awesome internet service. the waxing and waning of the signal is as good as it gets. i have been voicing my displeasure with the internet for over two years, to no avail. we are stuck with this very inferior service and product. i have gotten tired of complaining.............it does no good, regardless of what you hear from the front office. ask what part of your dues is for the awesome internet and cable package we have. you can get the direct phone # to the internet company from the office, to complain to them directly. nothing helps.......good luck.

So the problem is with the internet service and not the wireless? I was hoping that if I connected my computer directly to the ethernet jack I would get better reception but if that's not the case, that's really disappointing. 

yeah, all you can do is call the company directly. they will try and make things better......all in vain. i betcha i have complained 50 times. you will still get the erratic signal. welcome once again to the registry.
