The weather in Oklahoma can be very severe resulting in property damage. Hail storms and tornatos especially bring out the scammers. Should you have , or even think you have damage check out any company, especially those that come to your door. Most local and legitimate companies don't need to solicit your bussiness as they will have more businessthan they can handle. Do NOT sign anything until you have checked the company out. Check their references, check the Better Business Bureau and even with your neighbors as many of us went through this before.
We don't replace roofs often so be AWARE and use a company that you have checked out and has been and will be in business should you have a problem six months from now. If they are not local... Just say NO!
Commercial signs along the curbs are illegal and will be pulled and reported to the city. Signs in yards, not curbside are illegal and will be reported to the ACTION center. Be aware these signs are not legal in Oklahoma City and you can be fined. See OKC codes at www.okc.gov..
I'm told that It is OK for a contractor place a sign in your yard while they are doing the work; however it must be placed in the yard out of the "right-of-way" and the contractor should remove the sign upon completion of their work.
