Revitalizing "Our" Park

We attended the most recent meeting of the Washington Park Revitalization Committee, Wednesday evening, Febrary 16th, 2000, at the Washington Park Senior Citizens Center.

The Committee is formed of County Parks personnel and volunteer residents from the surrounding neighborhoods. The planning is quite well along. Based on input from a widely circulated user survey, the plan includes some very interesting and attractive changes, including a water park like that recently errected at Koscioszko Park on the South side.
