Washington Park Recreation Center to be Open on Sundays!

The City Council and the Parks and Recreation Department scheduled five separate meetings in February to discuss a pilot project, recommended by Councilperson Kathleen MacKenzie, for Sunday Openings for Berkeley, Eisenhower, Rude, Skyland, and Washington Park recreation centers. The meeting for Washington Park Rec. was held on February 1, 2001. Community surveys were available, and must be returned to the centers by March 1st if you want to provide input on hours of operations, facilities you want to use, and so forth. If you need a copy of the survey, you may pick one up at the recreation center(s).
