TOWN MEETING ON HISTORIC DESIGNATION! At the WPENA October 8th general membership meeting, Councilman Charlie Brown announced plans for a ?“Town Meeting?” on historic designation. The meeting has been set for Tuesday, November 19th from 7-9 PM at the Washington Park United Methodist Church at 1955 E. Arizona Avenue. Those homeowners within the proposed historic district (E. Mississippi to the north, E. Louisiana to the south, S. Franklin on the west to the alley between S. Race and S. Vine on the east) will receive a flyer announcing the meeting from Councilman Brown?’s office (or you may stop by his office at 2324 E. Exposition to pick one up). Representatives from the Denver Community Planning and Development Agency will be present at this meeting to answer your questions. A Denver Mediation Office staff member will moderate. This will be an excellent forum for neighbors who want to be certain they have the facts about historic designation. DON?’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!
