Denver Water?’s new Recycled Water Project is underway, and it means lots of blocked streets and detours. The pipes being installed will connect the Recycled Water Treatment Plant in Commerce City with industrial and irrigation users throughout Denver City, including Washington Park. In the spring of 2004, Washington Park irrigation water will be provided from the new Recycled Treatment Plan through the distribution system being installed in our district. The goal of the project is to augment Denver?’s water supply, delaying the necessity to divert western slope water or construct new water supply facilities.
