On Tuesday November 2nd, Metro Denver residents will have the opportunity to vote on ballot issues which will significantly affect the future of our neighborhoods. The Washington Park East Neighborhood Association is hosting a special meeting on Wednesday, October 27th at 7PM at the Denver Academy, 1101 S. Race Street to discuss one of the most significant items on the ballot--Referendum 4A. Referendum 4A is a bond issue to pay a projected 40% of the cost of improvements to the Southeast I-25 Corridor through Denver and Arapahoe counties. To learn more about this issue, plan to attend this meeting. We will discuss Transit Oriented Development (TOD), hear the pros and cons of including light rail in the Southeast corridor of I-25, and questions and comments will be taken from the audience.
