Bathhouse to be Renamed

Pending final approval by the City Council, the Washington Park Bathhouse will be rededicated in memory of Dos Chappel, Executive Director of Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado from 1988 to 1999, who passed away earlier this year. The planned rededication date is October 9th, which coincides with the Washington Park Trail volunteer day. Dos will be remembered for his commitment and vision in the stewardship of the public lands of Colorado. Kate Boland became the new Executive Director of VOC in July.
