Now that the weather is warm, dogs are spending more time outdoors in their yards. This means that passing people, pets, and cars attract their attention, and often their barking. The Denver Code Section 8-46 on Barking states: ?“It shall be unlawful for any owner, possessor, or person who keeps any dog, to permit such dog, by loud and persistent or habitual barking, howling, or yelping to disturb any persons or neighborhood, and the same is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and prohibited.?” WPENA recommends always approaching your neighbor first to resolve dog barking problems.
