Pilot Street Sweeping Program Underway

Underway In the month of April, Denver's Street Maintenance Program began a pilot street sweeping schedule in our area for non-permanently posted streets and avenues. Instead of the first Monday each month, the streets will be swept the 3rd and 4th Monday each month, with the street sweepers alternating the sides of the streets swept. For example, the west side of Franklin Street was swept on April 17th, and the east side of Franklin Street was swept on April 24th. The change in the schedule means that all the residents of a particular street do not need to find alternative parking for their cars on the same day. A copy of the new schedule for streets and avenues without street sweeping signs appears in this newsletter. Alleys will also be swept at least three times a year.
