SUMMARY PROCEEDINGS OF SEPTEMBER 19TH WPENA MEETING: We were happy to see such a good turnout at our September WPENA meeting. If you were unable to attend, here are some of the highlights of that meeting:
1) Charlie Brown asked neighbors to contact him at 303/871-0601 with ideas for what our community can do after the Sept.11th tragedy.
2) Lynn Pressnall reported on the Land Use
and Transportation Study ?“quick wins?”.
3) The amended Articles of Incorporation
were voted on (and passed) by the
majority of the qualified dues-paying
WPENA members who cast votes.
4) We welcomed several new neighbors who
joined WPENA.
5) The new Assistant Principal of South High School, Kevin Romero, was available for questions.
6) District 3 Police Department representatives answered questions about crime in our neighborhood and how you can prevent car break-ins.
