Neighborhood Businesses Provide Many Services: Our neighborhood businesses provide a wonderful array of services, including excellent restaurants and places to hang out, salon, nail and spa services, unique clothing, jewelry, art, floral and other specialized gifts, homemade ice cream and baked goods, travel and insurance. How many other neighborhoods can boast so many amenities so close to home? We hope you will patronize these long-standing businesses on Old South Gaylord, on South University, on E. Kentucky, and at South Downing at Alameda, to name a few. Leave your car at home and walk over. In the past few months, several new businesses have joined the neighborhood, including a furniture design store on Old South Gaylord and a cleaner at Downing and Alameda. We wish them success.
