I wanted to let other pet owners in Washington park know that I saw a Coyote running from the Park and crossing the street into South High Schools parking lot. This happened last Saturday night at about 10:30 PM as I was driving home. The Coyote ran across the street right in front of me. I wanted to let others know so they can keep their pets safe, especially since I've been seeing more and more dogs running off leash through the neighborhood .

I have now seen 3 coyotes this past year and I live off of Pearl & Bayaud and on one occasion the coyote had a small animal in it's mouth. We have a small yorkie so be careful because if you look at what's happening in Cherry Hills they go after small and large dogs! Max Castillo |
